About the Meet
This is our 4th year and we will again be hosting a local District Meet. The event was a success last year with an estimate of 350+ in attendance. This year we will have 31 teams with close to 170 kids. The Jr. League has been exploring the Junior FIRST LEGO League ThinkTank Redefining Learning topic, looking at places and tools of learning. The Sr. League is building robots to compete in their choice of eight different robotic track meet challenges. Winning teams have the chance to compete in the State Robotic track meet on May 2nd in South Portland!

This year we will we will be visited by a Creep3r!, built by Andy Milluzzi! Check out his video from the World Maker Faire 2014, and check out the preview below:

The Portland Police Department Bomb Squad Robot will be making its rounds. Hopefully without too much excitement.

Explore hands on science with activities provided by 4-H and the University of Maine Cooperative Extension or join in with LEGO’s for fun builds provided by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland.

Join us for an exciting day of LEGO Robotics for kids of all ages!

We wish to offer a big Thank You to our event sponsors:
